Am Linh Pagoda in Ly Son district, Quang Ngai province.
The monument was built in the mid-17th century and is a place to worship the “Hoang Sa heroes”, fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives over the centuries safeguarding Viet Nam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
Am Linh Pagoda is the venue where the communities on Ly Son island hold the Hoang Sa Soldiers Commemoration Ceremony.
In 2007, Am Linh Pagoda was classified as a national historical site.
